But if Gary won't recruit harder

Is it possible there is something else to blame besides Gary and the players? lets see, the Terps are on the verge of 3 straight NIT's and how long was it that they moved out of Cole??? The place was dead but its a bit of the chicken and the egg deal. Freekin, freekin Terps
its all the little things that add up - i just bought an IPOD and as I was downloading a billion tunes, I came across the land of podcasts. low and behold, there is a Terps one but just a couple of entries and none recent. So i flip over to the Coach K one and sure enough, he updated the thing a couple of times a week.
Is gary more busy than Coach K? not saying this is why the terps don't get recruits, though we all know how Gary disdains begging 18 yr olds to plays.

Nice poem. Very true. We need to sit the seniors down and give the younger guys some valuable game experience.
And the best part is...four of the top 8 are gone after this year - YEAH! Ok, that can cut both ways but its rarely good to lose all that depth, though I would gladly give up scholarships to boot Jones now
Anybody notice how freekin Yanik has disappeared? Where is that talk of a magical run to get to 8-8? Only good thing is I am watching Duke put everything into this game against UNC so hopefully they will have nothing left on Sunday

docB took over this site because i couldn't stomach the inevitable heartbreak that comes with the terps. it's hard to write the same things again, again and again. if DocB wasn't here, I would have shut the site down already.
the fact that the terps woes are always the same tells us something, yes? same problems every year. same game over and over...yet they get worse every year, not better.
at least next year, i will be expecting to go to the NIT. Do we even deserve to go this year? we are one rung from the bottom of the acc, and the bottom rung already beat us.

every game i expect the terps to come out blazing and turn this turd of a season into the greatest miracle season in history. the talent is there...a simple shift in the mental is all it would take. i will be hoping the miracle will start sunday, but really, truly, honestly....our boys don't have the mental fortitude to be heroes. until they do, they will remain zeros.
our point guard starts on the bench. our center belongs on the bench. our leader is a quintessential choke artist, particulary in crunch time....even if we made it to a tourney, we would get mopped up by anyone with any assemblance of balance brains, skill or any kind of above the board basketballedness.
if gary doesn't start hayes, vasqez and boom on sunday, then he is the first person to point fingers at...cause wiping your ass with pre-shitted toilet paper doesn't get your ass clean. it just smears the shit around till you end up in the NIT three years in a row.
